NOTICE FOR PARENTS & STUDENTS:
There has been a major change to the deadline for submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA. The new start-off date is now October 1, 2016 for the 2017-2018 school year for anyone seeking financial assistance from the federal government.
FAFSA offers grants, work-study funds and low-interest federal student loans. The program includes information on state funds that may be available to pay for your child’s higher education. Learn more about Federal Student Aid
HomeSCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION FOR MINORITY STUDENTS
If you have a college aged child at home or know someone who does, pass this scholarship information on to anyone and everyone that comes to mind. Though there are a number of companies and organizations that have donated monies for scholarships for minorities, a great deal of the money is being returned because of a lack of interest. How about you? What are your education goals?
There is no need for money to be returned to donating companies because we fail to apply for it. Please pass this information on to family members, nieces, nephews, friends with children, fellow alumni, churches, and community organizations. We must get the word out that money is available.
